On the 25th-28th of June this year, Galliard Homes launched their new Manhattan Style ‘vertical village’ Harbour Central with a simultaneous launch of Maine Tower in Canary Wharf and Hong Kong.
Maine Tower is the first, and at 41 storeys high, the tallest of 5 buildings to form part of this new development which will provide a total of 901 newly built homes. Maine Tower will contain a comprehensive array of elite lifestyle facilities such as its own club lounge, cocktail bar, library, gymnasium, spa and 20 seater cinema, 5 minutes away from the heart of Canary Wharf.
This launch broke many British sales records, with over 200 of the apartments available being snapped up inside the first four hours. Some buyers had queued up for up to 36 hours in order to secure their place in what will now become Londons largest Art-Deco development.
The expected completion date of 2019 will coincide with the opening of the new high frequency rail service Crossrail which many experts believe will lead to a significant increase in house prices around the Canary Wharf region.
New Concept Interiors were glad to be on hand during both of these launches in order to assist property investors with any furniture requirements. Below are some images from the London launch displaying some of our furniture and room dressings.
